Rigo was one of the first individuals I met, over two years ago, living in an RV along 135th Street in West Rancho Dominguez. Few people have impacted my life the way Rigo has. Watching his growth and desire for a better life has changed me forever.
Rigo has been out on our streets, working with me, sharing his story, and encouraging others to accept help. This week, I asked him to participate in the Pathway Home project. Lieutenant Suarez from the Sheriff's HOST team was one of the individuals who assisted Rigo in securing housing.
